Flavourful balsamic marinated heirloom tomatoes, delicious burrata cheese, and a fresh basil walnut pesto that is to die for make for a very happy marriage of flavours and textures sitting atop soft and crusty French bread.

Ever since I first tried this cute little off-Halsted restaurant in the heart of Boystown I’ve been going back for the bruschetta alone.  That and their delicious cocktails, which are made with Taverna’s own housemade lemoncello, orangecello, and grapefruitcello.  Yum!
