Earthy, organic dark chocolate flavoured with an aromatic blend of spices inspired by the Moorish plants and tiles of Rococo’s secret Marococo garden.
Upon opening this intriguingly packaged chocolate bar your nose will be met with a cacaphony of exotic smells: cloves, cinammon, vanilla, nutmeg, and cardamom. These are all strong flavours on their own, but together they make for a heady mix that pairs beautifully with Rococo’s earthy organic dark chocolate and lingers on the tongue long after the bar is finished.
Rococo Organic Chocolates are made with natural ingredients from the ethical Grococo farm in Grenada.
mmmm cloves, I’m on a clove binge lately! Silly question but can I buy this locally?
It’s a good question! My husband bought this bar for me at their store in London. I just looked online and don’t see anywhere that carries these locally, but it looks like you can order from their online store (though I’m not sure if they would deliver to the States or not): http://www.rococochocolates.com
The clove flavour is actually my favourite thing about this bar – it’s an unusual but particularly delicious pairing with dark chocolate.
P.S. Out of curiosity – what have you been making with cloves?
Thanks. So I’ve been adding it ground up to the dough in shortbread cookies. I’ve Been adding it to soups and throwing it into marinades. And you probably think I’m nuts for this but I sometimes just chew on a whole clove especially if I think I’m getting a cough. So that about wraps it up with cloves 🙂
aie yi yi! That is gorgeous.
And it tastes even better!
Cloves, cinammon, vanilla, nutmeg, and cardamom, very strong aroma, especially cloves and nutmeg. I wonder what the combination smells like. It’s certainly unique!
The thing I smell most are the cloves and the cardamom, but also the dark chocolate. It’s delicious!
I’ve just run out of chocolate SDHD. The only place that I know who has some at 2am is your blog. May I have a nibble ? xox ❤
