Incredibly smooth and creamy sweet milk chocolate with crunchy bits of tasty pink Himalayan sea salt.

In case you have not already noticed, I have a chocolate addiction. I am also a huge sucker for tasting chocolate bars from different places. So when I went to Italy a few months ago, I smuggled back more than a few fancy-looking chocolate bars picked up in various specialty food stores throughout Rome.

Milk Chocolate With Himalayan Sea Salt

The trip was last March, so I was surprised to find this bar still kicking around in one of my drawers. For the most part, I had been pretty underwhelmed by the chocolate I brought back from Italy–a surprise, considering how stupefyingly good the food in Rome was. I had initially saved this bar for last because I liked the sound of the combination and the look of the packaging. But I was so disappointed by the other bars I got in Rome that I had forgotten I even had this one.

I soon found myself biting into the most creamy, dreamy, and exciting chocolate bar I’ve had in a very long time. The milk chocolate is smooth and clearly of the highest quality, and the divine creaminess of this wonderful chocolate combined with the tiny crunchy bits of Himalayan sea salt is extraordinarily good.

My husband’s best friend is getting married to an Italian woman in Tuscany next month, so as fortune would have it we will be back in Italy very soon. I will definitely be keeping my eye out for this bar while I am there (and purchasing more than one of them if I do come across it!).

  1. Hi SDHD 😀 Now that is different. Can I have piece for your suggested sandwich as it needs some salt with the chocolate ? Happy weekend my friend. 😀 ❤

  2. sounds crazy good on so many levels. Shouldn’t surprise me to learn that we BOTH love to collect fancy and fun chocolates when we’re out and about. I have an entire drawer devoted to such finds 🙂

  3. Ooh! Sounds like an awesome piece of chocolate. I can almost taste it. Love chocolate with chunks of salt in it too. The contrast is amazing.
Haven’t been to Italy yet but it’s on my list of places to go. Looking forward to reading posts from your trip to Italy next month 🙂
