A knife-and-fork burrito featuring slow-cooked pulled pork, habanero, pink pickled onions, beans, and rice wrapped in a flour tortilla and baked until slightly crunchy.

Wahaca (presumably the phonetic spelling of Oaxaca, Mexico’s culinary capitol) has several locations throughout London and has been rated by Zagat as Best Mexican in the city.  I can’t imagine that many who have eaten here would dispute this.  Their South Bank location is a bright and funky multi-tiered restaurant made from colourful railway shipping containers that is both comfortable and fun.  I can’t wait to go back and try other things.  Their tacos looked absolutely divine, and if the slow-cooked pork burrito is any indication of how they taste, they’ll rival anything I’ve had in Oaxaca.
