The Duck Leg Dum at Marigold is my favourite duck preparation ever: tender, fall-off-the-bone duck meat with plum tomato chutney and preserved lemon slices.
This incredible dish is the perfect balance of sweet and tart, with the sweetness of the chutney cutting the tartness of the preserved lemon and just enough spice to tickle the back of your throat. The oily, spicy, mustardy green beans are the perfect accompaniment.
The saddest thing ever is that Marigold closed last night, which means that I will never have their incredible Duck Leg Dum with black mustard seed green beans again. 😦
